Best Paper Award:

- Selection Criteria: The best paper for each volume will be chosen based on the following criteria:

- Significance: The paper's impact on the field and its contribution to advancing knowledge.
- Impact: The real-world relevance and potential applications of the research.
- Clarity of Presentation: The quality of writing, organization, and communication of the research.
- Selection Process: The Editorial Board Members of SMIJ will evaluate all published papers and select the best paper based on the established criteria. Their decision will be final.
- Recognition: The selected paper will receive a "Best Paper Award Certificate" and will be prominently featured on the SMIJ website and in the journal's marketing materials.
Best Reviewer Award:
- Objective: The "Best Reviewer Award" is intended to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of reviewers who provide high-quality feedback, thorough reviews, and timely responses, ensuring the integrity and quality of the journal's content.
- Selection Criteria: The Best Reviewer Award will be presented to reviewers who demonstrate the following attributes:
- Insightful Feedback: Reviewers who offer constructive and perceptive comments that enhance the quality of the manuscripts.
- Knowledgeable Reviewing: Reviewers who exhibit a strong grasp of the subject matter and provide informed critiques.
- Quality Reviews: Reviewers who consistently maintain high standards in the review process.
- Timely Completion: Reviewers who complete assigned reviews within the specified timeframe.
- Selection Process: The Editorial Board Members of SMIJ will assess the performance of reviewers throughout the year and select the Best Reviewer Award recipients based on their sustained excellence in meeting the outlined criteria. Their decision will be final.
- Recognition: Recipients of the Best Reviewer Award will be recognized with a certificate of appreciation. Their names will also be prominently displayed on the SMIJ website and in the journal's acknowledgments.
Early Career Researcher Award:
- Objective: The "Early Career Researcher Award" is established to recognize and encourage exceptional achievements by researchers in the early stages of their career within the field of sustainable machine intelligence.
