Established to be at the forefront of agricultural optimization, the Optimization in Agriculture (OIA) journal is a distinguished publication committed to advancing research in the optimization methodologies applied to agriculture. Since its inception in 2024, OIA journal has been dedicated to providing a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share cutting-edge insights, innovations, and sustainable solutions in the realm of agricultural optimization.

Aims and Scope: OIA journal invites submissions that contribute to the nexus of agriculture and optimization. Our Aims and Scope encompass a wide array of topics, including but not limited to precision agriculture, decision support systems, resource allocation, sustainable practices, and the integration of emerging technologies in agriculture. We seek to foster a diverse collection of research that shapes the future of optimized and sustainable agricultural practices.

Publication Frequency: Published once time per year, OIA journal ensures a timely and regular dissemination of groundbreaking research in agricultural optimization. This periodicity allows researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts to stay updated on the latest developments, methodologies, and advancements in the dynamic field of agricultural optimization.

Open Access: As advocates for open access principles, OIA journal ensures that all published content is freely accessible to a global audience. Our commitment to open access extends the reach of research, facilitating unhindered access, distribution, and utilization of knowledge in agricultural optimization.

Acceptance Rate and Timelines: In its inaugural year, OIA journal aspires to maintain rigorous standards of quality and efficiency. While historical acceptance rates are yet to be established, our commitment is to uphold a selective acceptance rate, ensuring that only high-quality research contributes to the journal. For the year 2024, our goal is to provide an initial editorial decision within 9 days from manuscript submission, a median time of 16 weeks from submission to acceptance, and an additional 10 days from acceptance to online publication. These ambitious timelines are designed to streamline the publication process, allowing contributors to swiftly share their discoveries with the global agricultural community.

Archival Recognition: Articles published in OIA journal will be archived and recognized by esteemed scientific archives, underscoring the journal's commitment to contributing to the global scientific discourse in agricultural optimization.
